For a timed slow-cook recipe followed by a later serving, start with Cuisinart MSC-600NAS and its separate eight-hour automatic Warm phase. Choose Crock-Pot MyTime 7QT when you want to enter a shared mealtime for a suitable food selection. Choose Hamilton Beach 33480 for larger recipes needing half-hour timer steps. These are control limits. The dish still determines how long it should be held.
Understand whole-cycle limits, automatic Warm and meal scheduling. Compare Cuisinart, Crock-Pot MyTime and Hamilton Beach for staggered dinners.

What matters in practice
Write down the start, the cooking finish and the last serving time before comparing timer headlines.
Hamilton Beach 33443 and 33473 count cooking and Warm toward a 14-hour total. The 33480 extends that whole cycle to 20 hours. Cuisinart instead allows up to 24 hours of Slow Cook followed by eight hours of automatic Warm. You do not get an extra 14 or 20 hours after cooking on those Hamilton Beach models.
MyTime uses a selected food type, amount and requested mealtime within 12 hours from cooking start. That differs from setting an elapsed cooking duration. Its separate Manual timer reaches 20 hours, and the guide recommends no more than four hours on Warm. Do not treat meal scheduling as permission to leave raw food waiting for a delayed start.
MyTime’s battery preserves clock time while an outage clears cooking settings. Hamilton Beach 33866 and 33969A document very brief settings retention around five seconds. Neither supplies backup heat or tells you whether an interrupted meal is still safe. A longer-outage concern needs a separate food-safety plan.
Cuisinart’s Slow Cook modes enter Warm, but its Steam mode switches off. The current GreenPan Elite instead enters Warm after Steam. A cooker that keeps a stew heated after cooking can therefore behave differently when it is making a side dish. Read the ending of the actual program, not just the Warm button on the panel.
