Your choice
Privacy policy
Best Product Fit works without accounts or contact forms. Analytics and comparison layout testing are enabled by default. You can turn them off in Analytics preferences in the footer.
Matcher preferences
Your selected needs are processed in your browser. They can be stored in the page URL so you can copy or revisit a match. Best Product Fit does not send those selections to a database.
Your analytics choice
There is no automatic analytics banner. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to turn measurement on or off. A default setting is not recorded as your explicit consent. An explicit enable choice is recorded for 180 days, after which the default applies. A saved opt-out stays in effect until you change it or clear site storage.
Turning analytics off keeps the original comparison layout and leaves Google Analytics off. If your browser blocks preference storage, measurement stays off unless you enable it for the current page.
Google Analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics measures visits, page use and actions such as changing matcher needs, copying a result link and opening an Amazon product page. Google may set or read its own analytics identifiers. We disable Google advertising signals and advertising personalization in this setup. Analytics cookies have a configured lifetime of 180 days. We do not collect names, email addresses or other contact details through the site.
Turning analytics off stops future collection and removes this site's comparison assignment and accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already sent to Google.
Comparison layouts
When analytics is enabled, we save a random browser identifier and assign one of three layouts when you visit a comparison included in the test. This keeps the same layout when you refresh or visit another eligible comparison. If a layout is retired, its visitors move to one of the remaining layouts and then keep that assignment. Other pages use the original layout. The random identifier stays in your browser and is not sent to Google. Analytics receives the experiment name and layout name to help us compare page use and Amazon link clicks.
The assignment does not use your browsing history or previous clicks. It belongs to this browser profile, so other browsers and devices may have different layouts. Clearing site storage or turning analytics off removes the assignment. Enabling it again after removal creates a new assignment.
Site delivery
The hosting provider may process limited technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, user agent and request time, under its own service terms.
Outbound links
When you follow a link to Amazon or another source, that destination receives the normal information sent with a web request and applies its own privacy policy. Amazon affiliate links contain the public Associate tracking tag needed to attribute qualifying purchases.
Contact and changes
The site does not collect contact details through a form. This policy was last reviewed on September 23, 2026.
