Main trade-off
Roborock Saros 10
The 1.57-inch climbing claim describes two-level thresholds. A single vertical step is limited to 1.18 inches in the manufacturer's tests.
Head-to-head
Choose the Saros 10 for its vibrating mop and a documented mop-detachment routine for carpet. Choose the Qrevo CurvX if rotating mops are your preference. Both lower their navigation tower to a published 79.8 mm body height. A low sofa alone is not a reason to choose one over the other.
Before you choose
At an 85 mm opening, both have only 5.2 mm of nominal spare height. That is a tight fit for either machine.
What this is based on
85 - 79.8 = 5.2 mm. The calculation uses lowered body heights and does not account for uneven surfaces or furniture obstructions.
Main trade-off
The 1.57-inch climbing claim describes two-level thresholds. A single vertical step is limited to 1.18 inches in the manufacturer's tests.
Main trade-off
The rounded dock still needs floor space and access to its tanks. A low robot does not make the station compact.

Saros 10 and Qrevo CurvX both lower to 79.8 mm. Compare vibrating and rotating mops, dock washing and the reasons to choose either robot.
Winner by situation
The stated minimum height is identical.
Choose the Saros 10's pad mechanism.
The CurvX keeps that cleaning motion.
Station wash heat is not floor steam.
What matters in practice

85 - 79.8 = 5.2 mm. The calculation uses lowered body heights and does not account for uneven surfaces or furniture obstructions.
The CurvX's 80°C figure concerns station washing. It is not evidence that the robot steam-cleans or disinfects the floor.
Roborock describes the temperature as hot-water mop washing at the dock. Floor cleaning uses the robot's separate mop system.
Once both fit under the furniture, vibrating versus rotating contact is a more useful distinction than a small change in advertised suction.
Both robots have 79.8 mm lowered bodies and retracting laser navigation, while their main mop mechanisms differ.

Roborock, Saros 10
A retractable navigation tower gets the vibrating mop under low furniture. It can leave its main mop at the dock before vacuuming carpet.

Roborock, Qrevo CurvX
A retractable tower combines low furniture access with rotating mops and an adaptive chassis. The rounded station handles heated mop care.
Meaningful differences
| What changes | Roborock Saros 10 | Roborock Qrevo CurvX | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lowered body height | 79.8 mm | 79.8 mm | Both address the same nominal furniture-height constraint. |
| Navigation tower | Retracts | Retracts | Neither is a tower-free robot. |
| Main mop mechanism | Vibrating pad | Rotating pads | Compare the cleaning workflow rather than the product tier. |
| Chassis | Liftable | Adaptive lifting chassis | Threshold shape still matters. |
| Dock wash temperature | Heated mop washing | Up to 80°C mop washing | Dock water temperature is not the temperature applied to your floor. |
| Rated suction use | Manufacturer specification | Manufacturer specification | Neither rating can be converted into a cleaning-percentage advantage. |
What you give up
What matters in practice
A robot can be low enough at its center and still be blocked by a sofa's front apron or a sloping floor. Measure the whole entrance. If the opening is barely above 80 mm, neither published height leaves much practical margin.
Heated washing can change how the station cleans its mop. It does not give permission to use the robot on a floor whose manufacturer discourages wet cleaning. Check the flooring guidance separately, especially for unsealed wood and water-sensitive seams.
The Saros 10 offers a vibrating-pad route and explicit mop removal for vacuuming. The CurvX offers rotating pads in a similarly low package. Buy the mechanism and station arrangement you want to maintain, rather than assuming the name or suction number identifies a universal winner.
What the facts say
Useful conclusions from the current robot vacuums comparison, followed by the checked facts used to reach them.
Only 6 of 52 models checked match every need here: “I need it under low furniture”, “Mopping matters as much as vacuuming”, and “My rooms have tall thresholds”.
6 matching models from 52 checkedMatch countThe count uses the current product-to-need assignments for “I need it under low furniture”, “Mopping matters as much as vacuuming”, and “My rooms have tall thresholds”. A need with no documented match does not count.
