Main trade-off
Greenworks 3000 PSI Brushless Electric Pressure Washer
Its headline 3000 PSI and 2.0 GPM are separate operating points: Greenworks specifies 1.1 GPM at 3000 PSI and 2.0 GPM at 100 PSI.
Head-to-head
Choose the Greenworks 3000 for long cleaning sessions near an outlet and tap. Choose the EGO 3200 when cords or access to water are the real problem. EGO adds siphoning and battery power, but a remote job still needs a realistic water supply.
Before you choose
At 1.2 GPM, five gallons lasts about 4.2 minutes with the trigger held.
What this is based on
5 ÷ 1.2 = 4.17 minutes. Assumes the published EGO operating flow, usable water and no priming loss.
Main trade-off
Its headline 3000 PSI and 2.0 GPM are separate operating points: Greenworks specifies 1.1 GPM at 3000 PSI and 2.0 GPM at 100 PSI.
Main trade-off
Turbo mode requires both supplied batteries, and sustained high-output runtime is much shorter than the up-to-60-minute Eco figure.

Compare Greenworks GPW3002A and EGO HPW3204-2 for long driveway jobs, cordless washing and using a water tank away from a tap.
Winner by situation
Mains power avoids battery changes while the tap feeds either machine.
The EGO kit supplies its own electrical power.
Only EGO supports this setup here, and the water volume limits spraying.
Both can use suitable nozzles. Choose the power arrangement you will use most.
What matters in practice
At 1.2 GPM, five gallons lasts about 4.2 minutes with the trigger held.
5 ÷ 1.2 = 4.17 minutes. Assumes the published EGO operating flow, usable water and no priming loss.
EGO's named high-pressure rating is about 6.7% higher.
(3200 − 3000) ÷ 3000 × 100 = 6.67%. This is a specification difference, not a measured cleaning-speed gain.
EGO avoids the electrical cord, but a large wash still needs tap-fed water or a substantial tank.
Battery power and siphoning solve separate constraints. The supplied kit has two 6.0Ah batteries.

Greenworks, GPW3002A Gen 2
A high-output corded model with a stable wheeled frame, brushless motor and enough operating pressure for most residential hard-surface work.

EGO, HPW3204-2
The strongest cordless option in this set, with dual batteries, selectable modes and a siphon hose for cleaning where outlets or taps are inconvenient.
Meaningful differences
| What changes | Greenworks 3000 PSI Brushless Electric Pressure Washer | EGO Power+ 3200 PSI Cordless Pressure Washer Kit | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Working output | 3000 PSI at 1.1 GPM | 3200 PSI at 1.2 GPM | Use paired pressure and flow figures, not the separate 2.0 GPM maxima. |
| Power supply | Outdoor electrical outlet | Two 56V batteries | An outlet favors uninterrupted work. Batteries favor freedom of placement. |
| Remote water | Pressurized inlet supply | Siphon hose included | EGO can solve a missing tap if you bring enough clean water. |
| Runtime limit | No battery recharge | Up to 60 minutes in Eco | High-pressure work has a different battery demand. |
| What you buy | Corded GPW3002A | HPW3204-2 battery kit | A bare tool and a two-battery kit are different purchases. |
What you give up
What matters in practice
For an off-grid wash, count the water you can bring before buying batteries. At EGO's published 1.2 GPM high-pressure operating point, five gallons allows about 4.2 minutes of continuous spraying before priming losses. Intermittent trigger use stretches elapsed time, but it does not create more water. A small bucket suits a rinse job much better than a driveway.
The named ratings put EGO at 3200 PSI with 1.2 GPM and Greenworks at 3000 PSI with 1.1 GPM. Those are close enough that access, interruptions and the nozzle can matter more than the pressure gap. Neither machine delivers its separate 2.0 GPM maximum at the headline pressure. We do not combine those maxima into a cleaning score.
Greenworks removes charging from the job, while EGO removes the power cord. Both still require setup, clean water, a suitable spray pattern and storage protected from freezing. EGO's up-to-60-minute figure belongs to Eco mode with the specified batteries, not a promise of an hour at maximum output. Buy the HPW3204-2 kit only if its included batteries suit your workload.
What the facts say
Useful conclusions from the current pressure washers comparison, followed by the checked facts used to reach them.
None of the 28 models checked covers every part of “I want plug-in simplicity”, “I need to work away from an outlet”, and “I need to draw from a water container”, so the recommendation favors the closest practical compromise.
0 matching models from 28 checkedMatch countThe count uses the current product-to-need assignments for “I want plug-in simplicity”, “I need to work away from an outlet”, and “I need to draw from a water container”. A need with no documented match does not count.
