Head-to-head

BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 vs EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic: Elite accepts a larger solar setup, DELTA offers more AC sockets

The short answer

Elite 100 V2 is the stronger off-grid pick because its 1,000W solar input and two high-power USB-C ports recharge and serve modern gear efficiently. DELTA 3 Classic is the simpler household alternative with more AC receptacles and a familiar EcoFlow app.

The reasoning and the trade-offs

Main trade-off

BLUETTI Elite 100 V2

Only two AC receptacles are built in, and high-draw loads empty a 1kWh battery quickly.

Main trade-off

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic

The Classic has no 12V DC output or dedicated extra-battery port. Its solar input is lower than DELTA 3 Plus.

BLUETTI Elite 100 V2

Choose it for
  • You can deploy more than 500W of compatible solar
  • Two high-power USB-C ports matter

About this comparison

The same nominal capacity hides very different solar, USB and appliance priorities.

The practical choice turns on solar input and usb-c, then on the constraints in your own setup.

Before you choose

How they fit your plans

Two working laptops change the cable plan

Elite 100 V2 is the tidier choice if two laptops each need a 65W USB-C connection. Its recorded 140W and 100W ports clear that individual requirement. DELTA 3 Classic has one 100W port and one 30W port, leaving the second laptop short during a sustained 65W workload. Classic can still power its wall adapter through AC, but that adds a brick and uses a socket.

Facts behind this advice

This checks per-port ceilings rather than adding them into an unsupported total-output claim. Laptops and cables must support the required USB PD profiles. EcoFlow's second port is 65 - 30 = 35W below the example demand. Both stations start with 1024Wh, so this is a connection difference.

A short solar stop needs enough panel output

Elite 100 V2's larger solar input matters when a compatible array can actually deliver more than Classic's 500W ceiling. Replacing a 600Wh deficit takes at least 36 minutes at 1000W or 72 minutes at 500W before losses and taper. If your panel only produces 200W, both face the same three-hour theoretical minimum. Choose the higher input for a real array and charging window.

Facts behind this advice

Ideal time is energy deficit divided by accepted solar power. These are lower bounds, not recharge promises. BLUETTI lists a 12 to 60V, 20A input with a 1000W maximum. Check array open-circuit voltage, current and connectors against each manual, including cold-weather voltage, before connecting it.

Winner by situation

Start with what you need it to do

  • Solar is a real part of my recharge plan

For solar input, BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 records “Up to 1,000W” and EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic records “Up to 500W”. This can be a hard compatibility check for the available supply, connection and intended load.

  • I charge modern laptops directly

For usb-c, BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 records “140W + 100W” and EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic records “One 100W port”. This affects connection compatibility and available data paths. A higher label does not guarantee the same real-world result in every setup.

  • I need backup for household essentials

Both records list “1,800W” for rated output. Both records show the same result for “Rated output”, so this row does not separate them.
