Main trade-off
TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro 3-Pack
Using the sole 2.5 Gbps port for internet leaves only gigabit ports for wired backhaul.
Head-to-head
Choose BE63 when faster internet must reach wired rooms or several fast devices. XE75 Pro suits a simpler Wi-Fi 6E setup where gigabit LAN connections are acceptable.
Before you choose
After backhaul, it leaves three sockets instead of two.
What this is based on
4 − 1 = 3 on BE63. 3 − 1 = 2 on XE75 Pro.
Main trade-off
Using the sole 2.5 Gbps port for internet leaves only gigabit ports for wired backhaul.
Main trade-off
It has no 10Gbps Ethernet, so very fast NAS or internet links top out at 2.5Gbps per port.

Compare XE75 Pro and BE63 for a two-gigabit plan, wired satellites and a NAS. Four fast ports change more than the Wi-Fi generation.
Winner by situation
BE63 has a fast WAN and fast LAN ports. XE75 Pro only has the first.
BE63 needs all four sockets, while XE75 Pro has three.
The faster BE63 ports do not make a gigabit client faster.
BE63 leaves three local sockets after the uplink.
What matters in practice
After backhaul, it leaves three sockets instead of two.
4 − 1 = 3 on BE63. 3 − 1 = 2 on XE75 Pro.
BE63 avoids the one-gigabit gateway LAN limit in a direct multi-gig path.
Minimum WAN and LAN link rates are 2.5G for BE63 and 1G for XE75 Pro after fastest WAN is assigned.
BE63 can take WAN, two satellite cables and one local device without a switch.
4 ports − 1 WAN − 2 satellite links = 1 free port.
Check your own setup
Planning to connect your mesh nodes with Ethernet? Count the sockets before you buy. This checks direct cables from the main node to each satellite, without an extra network switch. These choices are examples until you apply yours.
The sockets cover this 2-node wired layout, leaving 0 unused gateway LAN sockets. The selected internet-to-device path has a 1 Gb/s link ceiling before overhead, not a promised download speed.

Port speeds are physical link ratings, not Wi-Fi throughput. Cable quality, client adapters and network configuration still matter. All requested nodes must be included in the linked bundle. This assumes router mode with one internet socket and star wiring. PoE units also need a compatible power source, which this socket check does not size. A switch, access-point mode or another layout changes the result. It does not predict wireless coverage.

TP-Link, Deco XE75 Pro
Adds a faster internet socket and 6 GHz to a three-node Deco setup. The second Ethernet link still tops out at a gigabit.

TP-Link, Deco BE63
A tri-band BE10000 mesh with 6 GHz, four 2.5Gbps ports and USB on each node.
Meaningful differences
| What changes | TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro 3-Pack | TP-Link Deco BE63 3-pack | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ethernet per unit | 1 × 2.5G and 2 × 1G | 4 × 2.5G | BE63 provides fast connections on both sides of the router. |
| Generation | Wi-Fi 6E | Wi-Fi 7 | Both have 6 GHz, but only BE63 supports Wi-Fi 7 features. |
| Fast LAN after fastest WAN | 1 Gbps | 2.5 Gbps | This is the key limit for a wired second room. |
| Satellite device sockets after uplink | 2 | 3 | BE63 can connect an additional device without a room switch. |
| Gateway after WAN and two satellites | No spare socket | 1 × 2.5G spare | BE63 can also take a local NAS or desktop in that star. |
| Selected package | 3 nodes | 3 nodes | The comparison uses the same node count. |
What you give up
What matters in practice
A faster WAN matters less than the slowest connection between the internet and your work PC. Follow the cable through the gateway and satellite before comparing the radio labels.
BE63 gives a 2.5G NAS useful connection options. A NAS with only gigabit Ethernet remains a gigabit endpoint unless its supported configuration changes.
BE63 adds the newer wireless standard, but the port advantage is useful even for old Wi-Fi devices and fully wired clients. That makes its value easier to justify in a cabled home.
What the facts say
Useful conclusions from the current mesh Wi-Fi systems comparison, followed by the checked facts used to reach them.
19 of 35 models checked match every need here: “My internet plan is faster than one gigabit”, “I can connect the mesh nodes with Ethernet”, and “I have 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps wired devices”.
19 matching models from 35 checkedMatch countThe count uses the current product-to-need assignments for “My internet plan is faster than one gigabit”, “I can connect the mesh nodes with Ethernet”, and “I have 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps wired devices”. A need with no documented match does not count.
