Head-to-head

Dreame Aero vs Aero Pro: Pro adds heated roller care, both fit the same low-clearance route

The short answer

Choose Aero Pro if heated roller washing and drying are worth paying for. Choose Aero if low-furniture access is the main job and you are happy with unheated care. Both have a 3.88-inch body and a one-liter clean tank.

Before you choose

The reasoning and the trade-offs

The low-sofa buyer gets the same geometry

Aero and Aero Pro both have a 3.88-inch flat body. Paying for Pro does not unlock a lower space. At a four-inch gap, either leaves only 0.12 inch on paper, which is too little to promise an easy fit.

What this is based on

Calculation: 4.00 − 3.88 = 0.12 inch, about 3 mm. Furniture sag, joints and uneven floors require additional working room.

What matters in practice

The differences that matter

The low-sofa buyer gets the same geometry

Aero and Aero Pro both have a 3.88-inch flat body. Paying for Pro does not unlock a lower space. At a four-inch gap, either leaves only 0.12 inch on paper, which is too little to promise an easy fit.

How we reached this conclusion

Calculation: 4.00 − 3.88 = 0.12 inch, about 3 mm. Furniture sag, joints and uneven floors require additional working room.

A hot dock does not turn Pro into a hot-water mop

Aero Pro heats its roller-care cycle after cleaning. Its floor pass remains different from Dreame’s H15 Pro Heat or a steam washer. Buy the heated dock to help clean and dry the roller, not to apply heat to sticky floor marks.

How we reached this conclusion

The documented Pro additions are 194°F dock washing and heated air drying. Neither model has floor steam or heated floor washing.

A longer battery headline cannot settle the refill question

Both use a one-liter clean tank and a 600 ml dirty tank. Pro’s US page assigns its 60-minute maximum to different modes in different sections, so it is excluded from the battery comparison. The shared tank sizes still give no reason to expect fewer refill or emptying stops from Pro alone.

How we reached this conclusion

The US runtime chart gives Quiet 40 minutes and Suction 60. Its specification table instead labels 60 minutes as Quiet. Tank capacities agree across the documentation.

  • No heated floor wash or steam

Recommendation switch

The decision flips if...

My main problem is reaching under a low sofa

Choose Dreame Aero. Aero keeps the same low body and clean-tank capacity as Pro

I want heated roller care after washing

Choose Dreame Aero Pro. Pro adds hot-water dock washing and a five-minute heated dry

What matters in practice

Before you choose

Check these before buying

  • Measure the lowest obstruction, not just the sofa’s front edge.
  • Confirm Aero Pro rather than assuming every Aero has a heated dock.

What this comparison cannot tell you

  • This comparison uses documented designs and operating limits. It does not rank measured pickup, noise, sanitizing performance or pet comfort. Remove solid pet waste separately and follow the floor and machine care instructions.
