Main trade-off
Dreame L60 Ultra PE
Independent testing found below-average dried-stain removal.
Head-to-head
Choose the Dreame when obstacle handling and a full wash dock justify more hardware. Choose the Roborock for exceptional carpet pickup with a smaller auto-empty-only station and more manual mop care.

Main trade-off
Independent testing found below-average dried-stain removal.
Main trade-off
Its small-obstacle avoidance was poor in independent testing.

Compare two strong carpet and pet-hair robots by obstacle avoidance, mop care, dock size and maintenance.
The practical choice turns on dock and obstacle result, then on the constraints in your own setup.
Before you choose
L60 Ultra PE's official carpet strategy includes removing the mop pads for long-pile rugs, alongside lifting them for low pile. Q10 S5+ has a lifting sonic mop, but the reviewed package does not provide a dock-removal process. Choose L60 if leaving the pads off during the permitted carpet task is a firm requirement. Choose Q10 for compatible lower-pile routes when its lift and manual mop care meet your needs.
Pad removal keeps the wet cloth off the robot, while lifting retains it on board. Neither feature overrides surface instructions, and fringe or delicate rugs may still need exclusion.
L60 Ultra PE's 100-degree-Celsius figure concerns station mop washing. It does not mean the robot steam-cleans floors or sanitizes a pet accident. Choose its full station when automated mop care is useful after ordinary permitted cleaning. Choose Q10 if you prefer to handle the mop manually and mainly need dust transfer. If collecting urine or feces is the intended unattended task, neither is established suitable by these dock features.
Heat location changes the practical capability. A dock wash temperature does not establish floor-surface temperature, approved waste pickup or a disinfection result.
Winner by situation
For dock, Dreame L60 Ultra PE records “Full mop-wash service station” and Roborock Q10 S5+ records “Dust auto-empty station”. The dock can change floor-space needs and the charging, emptying or cleaning work done after each session.
Its sensor system is designed around recognizing small obstacles.
An extending brush or mop is designed to reach closer to edges.
Its battery and recharge-resume behavior suit longer cleaning sessions.
Its mapping platform supports more complex, multi-level routines.
