Coway Airmega 200M
There is no app, remote control or air-quality history.
Head-to-head
Performance is close enough to buy by price and appearance. The 200M has slightly higher pollen CADR and a cleaner square face. The Mighty has the longer track record and often broader filter availability.
Before you choose
For “Pollen CADR”, the published figure is 15% higher for Coway Airmega 200M, at 277 CFM compared with 240 CFM for Coway Airmega Mighty.
What this is based on
For pollen cadr, the published output matters only when the room, surface or workload needs the extra headroom. It does not prove better results by itself. The percentage uses the lower published figure as the baseline.

Main trade-off
The optional ionizer is enabled with a separate button and should remain off when not wanted.

Coway’s closely related medium-room purifiers compared on shape, controls, verified CADR and value.
The practical choice turns on smoke cadr and pollen cadr, then on the constraints in your own setup.
Before you choose
At an eight-foot ceiling and a five-air-change target, a 360-square-foot room requires 240 CFM. Airmega 200M's 246 smoke CADR clears that nominal threshold, while Mighty's 233 falls just below it. Choose 200M if that exact rated-speed target matters. If you intend to run only a quieter lower setting, neither published maximum proves it will meet the same target overnight.
360 multiplied by 8 multiplied by 5, divided by 60, equals 240. This narrow threshold is planning arithmetic using maximum smoke CADR, not a prediction of personal exposure or sleep-speed performance.
Both models have an optional ionizer that can be left off, plus washable prefiltration and separate replacement media. If your requirement is a mechanical-only routine, either can remain on the shortlist with the control configured appropriately. Choose by the room calculation and the controls you will use, rather than assuming one requires ionization or has a washable main filter. Neither adds app-based scheduling to that routine.
The relevant shared features remove false reasons to choose a winner. Optional ionization is different from an always-on stage, and washable prefiltration is different from washing the HEPA element.
Winner by situation
For smoke cadr, Coway Airmega 200M records “246 CFM” and Coway Airmega Mighty records “233 CFM”. For smoke cadr, the published output matters only when the room, surface or workload needs the extra headroom. It does not prove better results by itself.
For pollen cadr, Coway Airmega 200M records “277 CFM” and Coway Airmega Mighty records “240 CFM”. For pollen cadr, the published output matters only when the room, surface or workload needs the extra headroom. It does not prove better results by itself.
Both records list “Auto and Eco” for core modes. Both records show the same result for “Core modes”, so this row does not separate them.
Both records list “Switchable” for ionizer. Both records show the same result for “Ionizer”, so this row does not separate them.
What matters in practice
For “Pollen CADR”, the published figure is 15% higher for Coway Airmega 200M, at 277 CFM compared with 240 CFM for Coway Airmega Mighty.
For pollen cadr, the published output matters only when the room, surface or workload needs the extra headroom. It does not prove better results by itself. The percentage uses the lower published figure as the baseline.
Try your real numbers
The result checks hard limits only. Preferences stay out of the calculation.
246 CFM of verified clean-air delivery gives about 6.2 air changes per hour here. The 5 ACH target needs 200 CFM.
233 CFM of verified clean-air delivery gives about 5.8 air changes per hour here. The 5 ACH target needs 200 CFM.
This uses maximum-speed, pollutant-specific CADR and a five-air-changes-per-hour target. Quieter settings deliver less clean air. It does not substitute raw airflow or a one-change coverage claim.
