Main trade-off
Ninja Crispi Portable 4-in-1
Only one container cooks at a time, even though two are included.
Head-to-head
Choose the original Crispi FN101 for smaller meals and a heater you can lift off the container. Choose the Crispi Pro for its larger 6-quart vessel and countertop base. Both cook in one container at a time, so the Pro upgrade gives one dish more room rather than cooking two dinners independently.
Before you choose
The step from 4 to 6 quarts adds 2 quarts to one cooking chamber. It does not add a second chamber.
What this is based on
(6 − 4) ÷ 4 × 100 = 50%, using the largest included vessel in each US bundle.
Main trade-off
Only one container cooks at a time, even though two are included.
Main trade-off
Its six-quart vessel has less single-layer area than many conventional drawers.

Compare Ninja Crispi FN101 and Crispi Pro AS101 by usable glass capacity, heater layout and meal-prep workflow, with the real limits of each bundle.
The useful size comparison is 4 quarts against 6 quarts. Adding the two included containers together would misrepresent how much either unit can cook at once.
Winner by situation
The original includes the smaller 1.5-quart container.
The Pro has a 6-quart primary vessel.
Both have one active cooking position.
Both packages include glass containers and storage lids.
What matters in practice
The step from 4 to 6 quarts adds 2 quarts to one cooking chamber. It does not add a second chamber.
(6 − 4) ÷ 4 × 100 = 50%, using the largest included vessel in each US bundle.
You can keep one finished dish in its container while cooking another, but the two dishes still take turns under the heater.
Both systems power one cooking container at a time. The FN101 includes 4 and 1.5 quarts, while AS101 includes 6 and 2.5 quarts.
The Pro’s 2.5-quart secondary container holds 1 quart more than the original’s 1.5-quart container. The smaller original can be more convenient for a single portion.
Six US cups equal 1.5 US quarts. 2.5 − 1.5 = 1 quart. This compares nominal container volume, not food yield.

Meaningful differences
| What changes | Ninja Crispi Portable 4-in-1 | Ninja Crispi Pro | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Largest cooking vessel | 4 quarts | 6 quarts | The Pro gives one recipe more room, but capacity is not a measured serving count. |
| Smaller included vessel | 6 cups, or 1.5 quarts | 2.5 quarts | The original offers a smaller container for one-person leftovers. |
| Foods on independent settings | One container at a time | One container at a time | Neither replaces a two-zone fryer for foods with different temperatures. |
| Heater arrangement | Removable PowerPod | Adjustable countertop base | Decide whether you want to move the heater between containers or keep a dedicated station. |
| Cooking functions | Four | Six | Check the modes you use rather than paying for a higher number alone. |
| Rated power | 1,500 watts | 1,800 watts | Input power is not a measured cooking-speed or energy-use result. |
What you give up
Recommendation switch
Choose Ninja Crispi Pro. The 6-quart vessel is the substantive capacity upgrade.
Choose neither. Compare a true two-zone model instead.
What matters in practice
Choose by the largest dish you actually cook, then by where the appliance will live.
A deeper container is useful for a roast or a larger batch, but crisping still depends on leaving air around food. Do not read the Pro’s 50% volume increase as a promise of 50% more crisp fries in one layer. Measure a pan or meal you already use before choosing.
Both systems let the cooking container remain part of the meal-prep routine. That can save a transfer into a separate storage tub. It does not remove the need to cool and refrigerate food safely or follow the manufacturer’s glass-handling instructions.
If your real frustration is cooking chicken and vegetables at different temperatures, moving from Crispi to Crispi Pro leaves that problem in place. The Crispi DualZone is the more relevant alternative because it has two separately controlled 4-quart vessels.
