Main trade-off
Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL 6.5-Quart
Two foods share the same cooking temperature and timer.
Head-to-head
Choose the COSORI TurboBlaze when counter space is tight or you also want to proof dough and keep food warm. Choose the Ninja AF181 for the larger 6.5-quart single basket. The Ninja adds only half a quart, so measure the counter before paying for a larger body.
Before you choose
The AF181 adds 8.3% volume while its outer rectangular footprint is about 20.9% larger.
What this is based on
Capacity: (6.5 / 6 - 1) × 100 = 8.3%. Footprint: (12.6 × 16.3 / (11.8 × 14.4) - 1) × 100 = 20.9%. Excludes ventilation clearance.

Main trade-off
One basket cannot keep two foods on separate settings.

Compare the Ninja AF181 and COSORI TurboBlaze by cooking layout, counter footprint and controls. See what the extra half-quart really changes.

Winner by situation
The COSORI body is 1.9 inches less deep. Add the operating clearance required by its manual.
Ninja offers 8.3% more advertised volume, though basket-floor area and food depth still control browning.
Proof is an explicit TurboBlaze program. A high-heat preset is not a substitute.
Both have one independently controlled cooking zone, regardless of program count.
What matters in practice
The AF181 adds 8.3% volume while its outer rectangular footprint is about 20.9% larger.
Capacity: (6.5 / 6 - 1) × 100 = 8.3%. Footprint: (12.6 × 16.3 / (11.8 × 14.4) - 1) × 100 = 20.9%. Excludes ventilation clearance.
The TurboBlaze fits that body-height limit. The AF181 is 1.17 inches too tall.
Example 13-inch gap minus published height: COSORI 13 - 11.9 = 1.1 in, Ninja 13 - 14.17 = -1.17 in. This does not establish safe operating clearance.
Neither can cook two different temperatures at the same time. A dual-zone model solves that problem instead.
Each has one basket and one independent zone. Program count changes the available settings, not simultaneous independently controlled recipes.

Ninja, AF181
One 6.5-quart basket gives a single dish more room than a small dual-zone compartment. Max Crisp reaches 450°F for frozen snacks.

Meaningful differences
| What changes | Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL 6.5-Quart | COSORI TurboBlaze 6-Quart | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|

| Width | 12.6 in | 11.8 in | COSORI saves 0.8 inch before ventilation clearance. |
| Depth | 16.3 in | 14.4 in including handle | Ninja extends 1.9 inches farther into the counter. |
| Height | 14.17 in | 11.9 in | Check the opening below cabinets as well as counter width. |
| Programs | Six | Nine, including Proof and Keep Warm | Extra modes matter only if you use them. |
| Top temperature | 450°F | 450°F | Maximum temperature does not separate these models. |
| Rated power | 1,750 W | 1,725 W | Nameplate watts do not establish electricity consumed per meal. |
| Fan selection | Program-controlled | Five speeds assigned to programs | COSORI's speeds are not freely selectable manual settings. |
What you give up
What matters in practice
The half-quart difference helps when your usual batch is just too large. It is a poor reason to give up more of a small counter if you usually cook for one or two. Quarts describe volume, not the flat surface available for crisping a single layer.
Both reach 450°F, so that number does not choose a winner. The COSORI's gentle proofing and keep-warm programs may be more useful for your cooking than another high-heat mode. Its fan speeds follow the programs rather than acting as a separate manual control.
Packing either basket deeply can change cooking time and require shaking. If two dishes are the problem, a dual-zone fryer addresses that constraint more directly than a slightly larger single basket. We have not measured identical food loads in these machines.
What the facts say
Useful conclusions from the current air fryers comparison, followed by the checked facts used to reach them.
Only 5 of 35 models checked match every need here: “I cook for four or more”, “My counter space is tiny”, and “I want very simple controls”.

Match countThe count uses the current product-to-need assignments for “I cook for four or more”, “My counter space is tiny”, and “I want very simple controls”. A need with no documented match does not count.
Calculation noteThis median uses quart figures only. Liter and cubic-foot oven cavities are excluded because they are not directly comparable with basket capacity. 29 of 35 models have comparable published figures for context.
